The Asia-Pacific Regional Commemoration of the 2020 International Women’s Day: “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights” will take place on 9 March 2020 at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok
This year’s event will feature an interactive dialogue among young change-makers (women and girl leaders, gender equality activists and women’s rights advocates). The dialogue will showcase existing and emerging approaches to accelerate progress in advancing gender equality In the Asia-Pacific region.
The event is open to representatives from governments, diplomatic missions, the UN system, other international organizations, as well as civil society organizations including youth groups.
