The United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), led by Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of UNPKFC, along with Ms. Rangsima Thongpunchung, Director of UNPKFC for Thailand, and the board of directors, attended a meeting with the Honorable Excellency Mr. Pichet Chuamuangphan, First Vice-President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Pitcha Chuamuangphan, Honorary Advisor to the First Deputy-President of the House of Representatives, Mr.Nopadol Keawsupat, Secretary to the First Deputy President of the House of Representatives, and their team at the Thai Parliament. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and prepare for the implementation of the Global Space Leadership Program, under the concept Space Access for All,Especially youth in rural communities who do not have equal access to quality education.
The program aims to develop the potential of Thai youth in space and scientific innovation, as well as to promote good governance. It will begin by conducting training in two main regions: Northern Thailand and Nonthaburi Province. The program is expected to involve no fewer than 10,000 students in Northern Thailand and at least 3,000 students in Nonthaburi. The training will be designed to ensure effective and inclusive learning.
The Global Space Leadership Program will utilize a curriculum from NASA to provide Thai youth with equal access to quality education. It focuses on building a foundation of knowledge in space science and fostering awareness of the challenges posed by climate change. As future leaders, the youth will need to understand climate change and grow into leaders capable of addressing these pressing issues.
UNPKFC remains committed to supporting sustainable development under the United Nations framework, particularly in the areas of education (SDG 4: Quality Education), climate change mitigation (SDG 13: Climate Change), and partnerships for the sustainable development goals (SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals). It believes that cooperation between the government, the private sector, and civil society will lead to the success of this project and contribute to the development of Thai youth into capable global leaders.
สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ประชุมร่วมกับ พณฯ ท่าน นายพิเชษฐ์ เชื้อเมืองพาน รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรคนที่ 1 หารือเกี่ยวกับโครงการผู้นำด้านอวกาศระดับโลก พร้อมส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพอย่างเท่าเทียม ณ.รัฐสภาไทย
เมื่อวันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) นำโดย ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ พร้อมด้วยนางสาวรังษิมา ทองพันชั่ง ผู้อำนวยการสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพประจำประเทศไทย และคณะกรรมการบอร์ดบริหาร ได้เข้าร่วมประชุมกับ พณฯ ท่าน นายพิเชษฐ์ เชื้อเมืองพาน รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรคนที่ 1, นางสาวพิชชา เชื้อเมืองพาน ที่ปรึกษากิติมศักดิ์ รองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรคนที่ 1, ดร.นพดล แก้วสุพัฒน์ เลขานุการรองประธานสภาผู้แทนราษฎรคนที่ 1 และคณะทำงาน ณ รัฐสภาไทย เพื่อหารือและเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการดำเนินโครงการ Global Space Leadership Program หรือ โครงการผู้นำด้านอวกาศระดับโลก ภายใต้แนวคิด Space Access for All (การเข้าถึงอวกาศสำหรับทุกคน) โดยเฉพาะ เยาวชนในชุมชนชนบท ที่ไม่มีโอกาสเข้าถึงการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ อย่างเท่าเทียม
โครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นในการพัฒนาศักยภาพเยาวชนไทยในด้านอวกาศและนวัตกรรมวิทยาศาสตร์ รวมถึงการส่งเสริมธรรมาภิบาล โดยจะเริ่มต้นการฝึกอบรมในสองพื้นที่หลัก ได้แก่ ภาคเหนือของประเทศไทยและจังหวัดนนทบุรี ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมีนักเรียนเข้าร่วมโครงการในภาคเหนือไม่ต่ำกว่า 10,000 คน และในจังหวัดนนทบุรีไม่น้อยกว่า 3,000 คน การฝึกอบรมจะได้รับการออกแบบเพื่อให้การเรียนรู้เกิดขึ้นอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและทั่วถึง
โครงการผู้นำด้านอวกาศระดับโลกนี้จะใช้หลักสูตรจาก NASA เพื่อให้เยาวชนไทยสามารถเข้าถึงการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพและเท่าเทียม โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างพื้นฐานความรู้ทางด้านอวกาศและการเข้าใจในปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ซึ่งจะเป็นองค์ความรู้สำคัญในการเตรียมเยาวชนให้เป็นผู้นำในอนาคตที่สามารถแก้ไขปัญหาสภาพภูมิอากาศได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนตามกรอบสหประชาชาติ โดยเฉพาะในด้านการศึกษา (SDG 4: Quality Education), การแก้ไขปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ (SDG 13: Climate Change) และการสร้างพันธมิตรเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals) โดยเชื่อว่าการร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ, เอกชน และภาคประชาสังคมจะนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จของโครงการและสามารถพัฒนาเยาวชนไทยให้เติบโตเป็นผู้นำที่มีศักยภาพในระดับโลกได้.
