Press Release: Merit-Making Ceremony for Thai New Year by the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) and UNGG (UNPKFC Global Group)
On April 8, 2025, the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) and the UNPKFC Global Group (UNGG) held a merit-making ceremony in celebration of Thai New Year at the UNPKFC Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand. The event featured the participation of nine monks, who were invited to lead the ceremony, including:

Phra Khru Wiboon Pattanakittikhun, Ph.D., (Abbot of Wat Hua Krabue) presided over the ceremony on behalf of the clergy, while Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), served as the lay president. The ceremony was attended by the UNPKFC Board of Directors and members of the organization.
During the merit-making event, offerings were made to the monks, including meals, monk requisites, and Thai traditional gifts, as a way of honoring Thai customs and promoting auspiciousness for the lives of the organization’s members and all attendees.
The event also included the annual tradition of water blessing, which marks the Thai New Year (Songkran Festival). This is a significant cultural practice for Thai people, aimed at enhancing well-being and bringing good fortune for the new year. UNPKFC emphasized the importance of preserving Thai cultural heritage while promoting peace, respect, and collaboration within society.
Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council, spoke on the significance of the event: “Today’s merit-making is not only a way to preserve traditions but also a means to connect with Thai identity and virtuous living, especially in an organization with the important mission of promoting peace and human resource development at all levels.”
This event reflected the unity of the organization’s members in supporting beneficial activities for society, allowing everyone to start the new year with happiness, prosperity, and auspiciousness throughout the year.

เมื่อวันที่ 8 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2568 สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (United Peace Keepers Federal Council) และ UNGG (UNPKFC Global Group) ได้จัดกิจกรรมทำบุญเนื่องในวันขึ้นปีใหม่ไทย ณ สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ สำนักงานใหญ่ กรุงเทพ ประเทศไทย โดยมีกิจกรรมที่ประกอบด้วยพระสงฆ์จำนวน 9 รูป ที่ได้รับการนิมนต์เข้าร่วมพิธี ได้แก่

โดยมีพระครูวิบูลพัฒนกิตติ์ ดร. (เจ้าอาวาสวัดหัวกระบือ) เป็นประธานฝ่ายสงฆ์ และ ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) เป็นประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการบอร์ดบริหารสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) และสมาชิกในองค์กรเข้าร่วมพิธีอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
ในพิธีทำบุญครั้งนี้ ได้มีการถวายเพล ถวายเครื่องสังฆทาน ไทยธรรม รวมถึงจตุปัจจัยให้กับพระสงฆ์ที่ประกอบพิธี เพื่อเป็นการสืบสานประเพณีไทยและเสริมสร้างความเป็นสิริมงคลให้กับชีวิตสมาชิกในองค์กรและผู้เข้าร่วมงานทุกท่าน
ภายในงานยังได้มีพิธีสรงน้ำพระประจำปี 2568 ต้อนรับเทศกาลสงกรานต์ ซึ่งถือเป็นประเพณีที่สำคัญของชาวไทย เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเป็นสิริมงคลในวันปีใหม่ไทย โดยทางสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ได้เน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของการรักษามรดกทางวัฒนธรรมไทย พร้อมกับการส่งเสริมการปฏิบัติตามแนวทางแห่งสันติภาพ การเคารพ และการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือในสังคม
ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส ได้กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของการจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ว่า “การทำบุญในวันนี้ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่การรักษาประเพณี แต่ยังเป็นการเชื่อมโยงความเป็นไทยและการดำเนินชีวิตที่มีคุณธรรม โดยเฉพาะในองค์กรที่มีภารกิจสำคัญในการส่งเสริมสันติภาพและการพัฒนาบุคลากรในทุกระดับ”
การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นการสะท้อนถึงการรวมพลังของสมาชิกในองค์กรในการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคม และช่วยให้ทุกท่านได้เริ่มต้นปีใหม่ด้วยความสุข ความเจริญรุ่งเรือง และความเป็นมงคลตลอดปี
