Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) and Global Chairperson for Southeast Asia of the United Nations Association of the Coachella Valley, California Chapter U.S.A, (UNA-USA), was highly honored to serve as Guest of Honor and deliver a keynote address at the opening ceremony of the international conference “Best Diplomats: Master Diplomacy, Leadership & Negotiations – Thailand 2025,” held at the Prince Palace Hotel, Bangkok.
The opening ceremony brought together diplomats, government leaders, academics, private sector representatives, and international experts from various countries to deliver remarks and exchange policy perspectives on key global issues. The discussions reflected the critical role of multilateral diplomacy and international cooperation in addressing the complex challenges facing today’s world.
Speakers at the opening ceremony included:
● Mr. Fawad Ali Langah, Project Manager of Best Diplomats, who delivered the welcoming remarks and officially opened the conference.
● Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, who delivered a keynote address in her capacity as Guest of Honor, emphasizing the importance of leadership, international cooperation, and sustainable peacebuilding amid global challenges related to health, inequality, and security.
● H.E. Mr. Dan Bahadur Oli, Ambassador of Nepal to Thailand, who highlighted the role of multilateral diplomacy and regional cooperation.
● Mr. Salman Perwaiz, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Pakistan in Thailand, who spoke on innovative diplomacy as a means to strengthen international cooperation.
In addition, distinguished representatives from the academic and private sectors also shared their insights, including:
● Dr. Randhir Reddy from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), who addressed the development of next-generation leadership through education and international platforms.
● Ms. Sunita Banjade, an expert in education and international development, who underscored the linkage between education and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
● Mr. Duan Linh Trinh, representative of TS Group (Vietnam), who reflected on the role of the private sector in supporting development and regional cooperation.
Best Diplomats Thailand 2025 was convened under the theme of Vaccine Diplomacy and the Reduction of Global Health Inequalities, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The conference aimed to strengthen knowledge, strategic skills, and international networks in diplomacy, leadership, and negotiations.
Importantly, the conference also served as a vital platform for the development of youth leaders and emerging leaders from more than 35 countries worldwide, who participated as youth representatives, young diplomats, and social leaders. Participants engaged in experience sharing and comprehensive capacity building, including strategic thinking, global policy analysis, cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, as well as the establishment of global networks—laying a strong foundation for their future roles as positive contributors to the global community.
The appointment of Dr. Aphinita Chaichana as Guest of Honor at this international forum further reflects the strategic role of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) as an international network organization committed to peacebuilding alongside the empowerment of youth across all networks, through the promotion of public diplomacy skills, values-based humanitarian leadership, and sustainable international cooperation.
Best Diplomats Thailand 2025 was therefore not merely an academic conference, but a dynamic platform for learning, global networking, and leadership formation—enabling emerging leaders to translate knowledge into action and play a meaningful role in advancing peace, international cooperation, and sustainable development for the global community in the long term.
