Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), paid an official visit to Sister Nivedita University (SNU), Republic of India, to engage in an academic and strategic dialogue with Professor Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Ph.D, Pro Chancellor of TIG Universities and Central Academic Leader at SNU.
The meeting marked a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration between a global peace organization and a higher education institution, with a shared vision to advance peacebuilding initiatives, promote inclusive education, and empower youth through international platforms.
During the discussions, both parties explored concrete cooperation frameworks, including the Peace Walk initiative, envisioned as a living platform where peace is practiced through action, learning, and community engagement. The collaboration also highlighted ALOKA as a strategic focal point — a symbolic and practical space for nurturing consciousness, compassion, and global citizenship among young leaders.
The dialogue was further enriched by the participation of Dr. Dipankar Roy, Global Advisor, UNPKFC India, a key leader driving UNPKFC initiatives in Kolkata, and
Ms. Rangsima Thongpunchung, Country Director of UNPKFC Thailand.
Together, they exchanged visions on building sustainable, cross-border programs that connect peace, education, and youth leadership in meaningful ways.
UNPKFC emphasized its long-term strategy to expand a global platform that ensures equitable access to quality education for youth, regardless of geography or background. Through partnerships with universities and academic networks worldwide, UNPKFC aims to translate peace principles into practical learning opportunities, leadership development, and real-world impact for the next generation.
On this occasion, Dr. Aphinita Chaichana expressed her sincere appreciation to Sister Nivedita University for the honour of being invited as a Guest of Honour, commending the university’s forward-looking vision and commitment to international cooperation.
“This collaboration reflects the true power of partnership between peace-driven organizations and academic institutions. Education is not only about knowledge, but about shaping consciousness, responsibility, and humanity. ALOKA will serve as a meaningful anchor where peace is not only discussed, but cultivated and lived,”
This collaboration between UNPKFC and Sister Nivedita University represents a shared commitment to transforming peace into action, expanding educational equity, and empowering youth as active contributors to a more compassionate and sustainable world.
