Advancing International Cooperation for Women, Youth, Peace, and Equality.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Commemoration of International Women’s Day 2025 was held at the United Nations Conference Centre Bangkok, within the premises of the United Nations in Bangkok, under the theme “For ALL Women and Girls: Equality. Rights. Empowerment.” The event highlighted the importance of promoting gender equality, protecting rights, and empowering women and girls, while emphasizing the critical role of youth in driving innovation for inclusive and sustainable development, particularly within the context of the green and digital economies.
The regional gathering was jointly organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and UN Women, serving as an important platform for dialogue, collaboration, and partnership among governments, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and youth networks across the Asia-Pacific region to advance gender equality and sustainable development.
On this occasion, the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), led by Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council, together with Ms Rangsima Thongpunchung, ountry Director of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council for Thailand – HQ, and Ms.Japitcha Wongchayathongsiri, Project Manager of the UNPKFC Young Peace Ambassador , participated in the meeting to reaffirm the organization’s commitment to advancing peacebuilding, policy advocacy, and international cooperation.
UNPKFC also emphasized its dedication to empowering women and youth as key drivers in promoting peace, equality, and sustainable development at the international level, while strengthening global networks and collaborative efforts toward building a more inclusive and peaceful world.
