The initiative was organized to cultivate a culture of sharing, compassion, and social responsibility while providing young people with valuable hands-on learning experiences. Through direct interaction and service, participants were encouraged to appreciate the dignity of every individual, embrace empathy, and develop leadership grounded in humanity and peacebuilding.

During the event, members of the UNPKFC Young Peace Ambassadors presented musical performances, sang songs, and conducted recreational activities designed to bring joy, encouragement, and companionship to the visually impaired participants. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections, demonstrating how acts of kindness can unite people across all backgrounds and circumstances.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Aphinita Chaichana stated:

“I firmly believe that the value of a human being is not defined by what can be seen with the eyes, but by the strength of the heart, the resilience of the spirit, and the courage to rise above every limitation with dignity and hope.

Each person here today is a remarkable source of inspiration. Your perseverance, determination, and unwavering spirit remind us that the greatest light in life is not found through sight, but through a heart that continues to recognize the value of life and inspire hope in others.”

The event reflects UNPKFC’s ongoing commitment to advancing a Culture of Peace through tangible actions and community service. It also supports the development of young people into responsible global citizens who embody volunteerism, compassion, and leadership rooted in respect for human dignity.

UNPKFC believes that sustainable peace is built not merely through agreements or words, but through people who choose to understand, care for, and support one another. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to inspire hope and create meaningful change within society.

“Peace begins with a heart that understands and shares.”
