28 July 2026 | Wat Hua Krabue, Bangkok, Thailand – The United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), in collaboration with Bangmod Dental, led by Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of UNPKFC, and Dr. Thitikarn Priyapat, Executive of Bangmod Dental Clinic, jointly hosted a merit-making ceremony to present the Royal Candle from the Chitralada Royal Project in observance of the Buddhist Lent Festival at Wat Hua Krabue, Bangkok.
The auspicious ceremony was graciously presided over by Phra Khru Wiboon Phatthanakitti, Honorary Doctorate, Abbot of Wat Hua Krabue, together with nine Buddhist monks, who formally received the Royal Candle before it was ceremonially enshrined in the temple’s ordination hall for use throughout the Buddhist Lent period.
In addition to the Royal Candle, the delegation donated nine Solar Power System (Solar Cell) sets, together with Buddhist requisites, to support the temple’s transition toward clean and renewable energy, reduce electricity costs, and promote sustainable temple development while integrating Buddhist merit-making with environmental stewardship.
The ceremony was attended by UNPKFC executives, members, UNPKFC Young Peace Ambassadors, and devoted supporters, who participated in an atmosphere of faith, unity, and goodwill. The event reaffirmed a shared commitment to preserving Buddhism, promoting ethical values, empowering young people through compassionate leadership and social responsibility, and fostering a peaceful and sustainable society.
This collaborative initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) and Bangmod Dental to humanitarian service, the preservation of religious and cultural heritage, environmental sustainability, and the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through meaningful partnerships that create lasting benefits for communities.
