The International Day of UN Peacekeepers was solemnly marked at UN Geneva , in the presence of several hundred former peacekeepers, diplomats,Dr.Aphinita Chaichana Global President UNPKFC , staff, and other guests.
UN flag was raised and a minute of silence observed. UN Geneva Director-General Tatiana Valovaya, AISP / SPIA head H.E. Laurent Attar-Bayrou, and Ambassador Mohammad Sufiur Rahman of Bangladesh, currently the leading troop contributing country, delivered remarks. UN Choir gave a moving musical performance at the end.
