Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations and its specialized agencies organized by high school and university students. It was first held by Harvard University students in the United States in 1925 as the Model League of Nations. After the League of Nations went dissolved, the first modern-form of MUN was hosted by Harvard University
in 1955. The form of debate, then, spreads across the globe until the present day.

Students attending MUN conferences will learn to solve problems as world leaders or as policymakers in a diplomatic manner. They will act as diplomats of a designated country representing in a United Nations conference and participate in their respective committees. They will debate, discuss, and draft a resolution under the protocols of the United Nations on behalf of their assigned countries.
